Terms of service

These Terms of Use (hereinafter “the Terms”) establish the terms and conditions for the services (hereinafter “the Services”) AtoZ Corporation (hereinafter “the Company”) provides through Nagajob. Registered users (hereinafter “Users”) may utilize these services in accordance with the agreement.

Article 1 Scope of application
This agreement shall apply to all matters relating to utilization of the Services between Users and the Company.
Article 2 Registration
Registrants may apply through the process determined by the Company once they have consented to the Terms. Registration is finalized on approval. The Company may refuse to approve an applicant’s registration if it determines any of the following have occurred, and bears no obligation for disclosure of the reason.
  1. Provision of false information at the time of registration
  2. When a registrant applies who has previously violated the Terms.
  3. On other occasions when the Company determines registration is not appropriate.
Article 3 Period of service
In principle, the Company provides the Services for each user for one year from the date of notification of the start of service. Further, during this period if users find employment with a company through the Services, the provision of service ends for that user on the starting date with the company. Also, on receiving notice of cancellation of service from the user, we will promptly terminate within reasonable limits.
Article 4 Suspension of service
The Company may suspend all or part of the Services without notifying the User in advance if it determines that any of the items below are applicable:
  1. When maintenance and updates to the computer system the Services run on occurs.
  2. In the event that uncontrollable circumstances such as blackouts, earthquakes, lightning strikes, fire, or other natural disasters render us unable to provide the Services.
  3. In the event of stoppages resulting from trouble with computers, telecommunication lines, etc.
  4. Other occasions when the Company determines provision of the Services is difficult.
The Company shall assume no responsible under any circumstances for any loss or damage suffered by the User or any third party due to suspension or interruption of the provision of the Services.
Article 5 User expulsion
If the Company determines that a User of the Services has violated the Terms, determines that there has been a breach of trust between the Company and the User, is unable to contact the User for over one month, or considers the User to be unsuitable in any other way, it may suspend or terminate the provision of the Services at any time. Moreover, the Company shall have no liability for any damage that may result from termination of or removal from the Services. In addition, the Company shall be under no obligation to respond to questions about its decision concerning the case should such a situation occur.
Article 6 Job-matching
The Company matches applications received from Users and the job requirements of employers, but we are unable to inform Users regarding review criteria and the reasoning behind decisions. Further, pursuant to a request from the employer, the Company may determine suitability for employment on their behalf.
Article 7 Prohibitions
When applying for or utilizing the Services, the User will not engage in the following behaviors:
  1. Committing illegal acts or those contrary to public order and morality, including criminal acts, or any acts that will or may result in a criminal offence.
  2. Providing false information when applying for or utilizing the Services.
  3. Collecting or accumulating personal information about other users.
  4. Impersonating another user.
  5. Engaging in slander, insults, and threats to other users, Service employers, or the Company, as well as employees of Service employers and third parties involved in the Company’s business activities.
  6. Infringing upon property, privacy, publicity rights, honor, copyright and trademark rights, or other intellectual property of other users or third parties.
  7. Behavior that obstructs the operation and business activities of the Services.
  8. Acts that damage the credibility of the Company.
  9. In connection with our services, acts that directly or indirectly profit organized crime syndicates.
  10. Other acts that we deem inappropriate.
Article 8 Organized crime syndicates
The User must declare that they have no links to organized crime syndicates, will not engage in criminal acts of violence, fraud, intimidation, those that interfere with business, etc. Users must also declare that they have no intention to engage such associations in the future. In the event of violation of the declaration, the User must fully accept that provision of the Services will be terminated.
Article 9 Disclaimer
The utilization of the Services and the content of information provided shall be the sole responsibility of the User. The use of the Services does not necessarily guarantee an effective job search. In addition, users bear responsibility for, after hire, confirming working conditions directly with the employer and thereupon entering into an employment contract. Please be aware that although the Company confirms the outline of job descriptions and work conditions with employers, it does not ultimately guarantee the content of employment contracts. Moreover, the Company is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the Services, including emotional, financial, and all other complications.
In addition, if you apply for job opportunities through the Service, you are accepting the disclosure of personal information such as your resume to employers. After application, management of personal information shifts to the employer; the Company is not responsible for the acquisition of personal information by third parties as per its handling as corresponds to each of the following items.
  1. When the User him or herself, through the features of the Services or by other means, reveals personal information to the specific companies the User is applying to.
  2. When personal information is disclosed voluntarily, such as when sending a resume to employers.
  3. When the User is identified in an unforeseeable way by registered information other than personally identifiable information.
Article 10 Liability
By violating these Terms, Users shall be liable for any loss or damage when such is inflicted on the Company, related entities, or third parties.
Article 11 Changes to the details of service
The Company may change the details of the Services without notifying the User, or discontinue the provision of the Services; it shall not be held liable in any way for damages to the User.
Article 12 Changes to the terms of use
The Company may modify or amend the Terms without consent of the User within the range of related laws and legislation safeguarding personal information.
Article 13 Governing law and jurisdiction
In interpreting these Terms, Japanese law shall be the governing law.
In the event of a dispute arising in relation to these Terms or the Services, the Nagano District Court shall have jurisdiction over the first trial.
